Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.

Morgan Stanley Repurchase Facility Amendment

On April 20, 2022, GP Commercial MS LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc., entered into an amendment (the “Amendment”) to that certain previously disclosed Master Repurchase and Securities Contract Agreement, dated as of February 18, 2016, with Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. (“Morgan Stanley”). The Amendment, among other things, (i) extends the facility’s availability period to June 28, 2023; (ii) increases the facility’s maximum facility amount to $600 million and (iii) converts the facility’s benchmark rate on all borrowings to Term SOFR, as defined in the Amendment.
